Is Moomoo a Cash or Margin Trading platform? The app is a little confusing. I see the word Margin everywhere until I place a trade do I see the word Cash! 🤨 Today I placed my first trade on Moomoo. This is how I figured it out. ✅ Changing SGD to USD - Go to Trade, US Margin Account, Currency Exchange to change all my SGD2700 deposit to USD. The process took less than 5 minutes.  ✅ Buying a stock - Go to the stock. Tap on Trade. Choose Limit or Market. Key in price and quantity. Unlock Trade. Then tap on Buy.  A notification appears telling me that whether the trade is cash or margin. The funds available will be used for cash trading. If funds are not enough, then a certain number of shares will go into Margin trading.  ✅ Monitoring Stocks - To monitor potential stocks to buy, go to the watch list in the Quotes tab. Bank of America Stock: A Strategic Sell Decision

After analyzing Bank of America’s (BAC) stock, I decided to sell my 23 units. The indicators were clear: the price had risen above the upper Bollinger Band, the RSI was above 70%, and OBV was higher than its average, signaling that the stock was overbought. With the target price for BAC set at $48, and the current price at $46, I believed the risk of a pullback outweighed the potential for further gains. While my profit was still modest at the time of sale, the overbought signals and the proximity to the predicted target price led me to lock in gains and exit the position. This decision allows me to reinvest the funds into other opportunities with better potential. It's a reminder of the importance of trusting your technical analysis and taking profits when indicators align. Now, with the proceeds, I'm on the lookout for new stocks that fit my buy criteria.

Trading Journal: August 27, 2025 Stock: Microsoft (MSFT) My Plan I was looking at MSFT on the daily chart and saw a few signals that caught my eye. The price is heading towards the lower Bollinger Band, which is around $500, a level that often acts as support. At the same time, the RSI (Relative Strength Index) is at 30. This usually suggests the stock is getting oversold and could be due for a bounce. The OBV (On-Balance Volume) is in the lower half, confirming there's been selling pressure. With the current price at $502.04 and the fair value estimate for the stock being somewhere between $600 and $623, this dip looks like a good buying opportunity to me.
