1 hour before the market opens. Any stocks in my Yahoo watchlist meeting my Supertrend buy criteria?  TALO? If there's a pullback, buy. Market opens. TALO opened higher. No pullback. Did any stocks on hand meet my Supertrend sell criteria? DAL and AIG. Sell or hold?  Hold. Price is above and not touching the weekly pivot point. How's my purchasing power today? I can buy up to only 4 stocks.  What to buy? Let's check the Finviz screener. Any potential Supertrend buy signal?  3 pm - 1 hour before the market closes.  Is there any stock I can sell? LYG.  Sell or hold? Sell! Why? The Price reached the weekly pivot point and may bounce back down. Sold LYG at $2.21.  Is there any stock to buy? Check MarketInOut.com.  None. Check the watch list. TALO? Jumped too much. See if there is a pullback tomorrow morning. Anyway, it's 14 days until the earnings call. So it's disqualified for a buy.  Check trending stocks? Missed BA, FB, and more.  Lesson: Keep track of good stocks daily. Check related stocks that people are also watching. Check Finviz screener. Not enough time to check all.  Lesson: Check Finviz at Market open. ~ Rookie Trader Journal PS: What did I learn? 1. Do Traders Make More Money Than Investors

Trading has come to a grinding halt. All my disposable capital is stuck in a market that is not moving up. I can't even buy anymore when they are down. I just have to sit and wait for the day COVID-19 vaccine is available.  That's when the market will shoot up. Now I know why traders cut losses. So I guess I am not a trader but an investor. A long term investor... 12-year investor to be exact. The financial crisis seems to come every 12 years.  I don't have much of 12 years left ahead of me. It's time to become a trader. So... Do Traders Make More Money Than Investors? Basically, both will make as much money. The trader makes the money faster, maybe in minutes, but more stressful. They buy to sell. They cut losses. The investor makes the money slower,  up to decades, but more relaxed. They buy to hold. They hold losses and hope.
