Is it Time to Sell TFX?

Moomoo alert tells me that TFX has rose above the Bollinger upper band. 

Should I sell it now? Or wait for theil other 2 signals to confirm?

I queued at 257... Opened at 255... Now at 30 minutes it's 249.

I should have have queued at the Moomoo suggested price of 254. 

Lesson learned.

I will wait. 

ROOKIE STOCK BUYING STRATEGY 

  •  Use RSI+BOL+OBV strategy - May 2022
    • RSI. Cross below 30 (buy). Cross above 70 (sell). 
    • OBV. Bounce from extreme low (buy). Bounce from extreme high (sell).   
    • BOL. 20, C,2. Fall out of band and back (buy). Rise out of band and back (sell). 
    • All 3 must meet the criteria at closing. 
    • Plus buy only if the company is profitable (Yahoo finance) and undervalued (simply wall street).  

ROOKIE SELL/STOP LOSS STRATEGY 

  • Check holdings every day for an RSI+BOL+OBV sell signal.
  • Sell on signal even if it's a loss (capital cashflow is better than stuck and falling losses)

Note to self... Start setting up Bollinger alerts on Moomoo SPY stocks signaled by Finviz.

- Forget SuperTrend... Coz it's 3 days late. 

- Record new stocks on Google sheet for profit and loss tracking. 

- Record new stocks in Yahoo finance for monitoring. 

- Record events in the calendar for future reference. 

- Consolidate and Sell old stocks. Keep only 20 manageable stocks. Do not buy and hold.  

  • Late April to early May - Buy on dip 
  • May - Sell and go away
  • August - Strong month
  • September - A bad month for stocks.
  • November - Reinvest

Exploring the Current Trends in the S&P500: Microsoft and Tesla Stand Out

I browsed through Finviz today and noticed that there are only two pages of S&P500 stocks with buy signals. This caught my attention because it means that most of the stocks in the index are performing well. However, I noticed that there are a couple of exceptions to this trend. First, there's Microsoft (MSFT). The stock is currently trading at $226 per share. It's definitely one to keep an eye on. [DONE] Then there's Tesla (TSLA). This stock is trading at $117 per share.
